Well about the red ring of death report. I am still fixing my Xbox360 Its coming along pretty nicely. I'm hoping i can keep getting lucky(not breaking anything). I need to run and get some more tools tomorrow so i can continue working on my red ring of death.

by the way the inside of xbox360 are very confusing and pretty cool.
I am looking at different info on how to fix my 360. I feel like a genius lol.
Anyways once i get my hook and some thermal paste i will be up and on my 360 again.

An Xbox 360 is not that much different from the insides of a computer. But I would not suggest opening your Xbox 360 and attempting to fix it yourself. Is there anyway you could take the console back into the store and replace it?

No it is not possible to take it back to the store. The only option is to take it to ship it to Microsoft. The whole process would take about a month.
I cant do that anymore anyways i broke a paper seal warranty deep inside of it so i cant take it to Microsoft anymore. I am doing pretty good so far so don't you worry. If it works out i will be up on Xbox live in about 2 days or so. keep your fingers cross(as Starbug would say)

PS anyone that gets the red ring of death from now on Tell me, because i found some very helpful links on how to fix all of it yourself. It is not that hard if you are very careful and pay attention.

Update: My xbox has had the thermal grease. Its still not working. Couple small probs im working on.

I got my Xbox to work but.....

I decided to go back inside it and check something out. i kinda messed up when i went inside.
I went back inside it to see if i should used some different washers. i tore the chip a bit.
I am still trying to fix the torn chip now.
Most likely my xbox 360 is done.
I will most likely get a new xbox soon.
